Book of My Very Best Work with Guest Kathie DeLuca – $40

Come and transform a piece of 22×30 paper into a work of art in this 4 hour workshop. We will begin with a plain piece of paper and spritz, spray, stencil, color, doodle, collage, and who knows what else….oh yeah….bind the book! Along the way we will explore different types of mediums and learn bunches of tips and tricks from Kathie. We will use some cool techniques using stencils in a non traditional ways. Your book will become dimensional during the process and will be your treasured one of a kind work of art. This is a class that will bring your art journaling to the next level. Beginner or experienced mixed media artists are welcomed! Join us for this very cool class! Space is limited!

Students to bring:

  • Bone Folder
  • Water Spritzer
  • Baby Wipes
  • dry cloth or paper towels
  • Uniball White Pen
  • Black Doodling Pen
  • Black Faber Castell Pitt Pen
  • Assorted Stamps you may want to add to your book
  • Magazine Pages
  • Collage Items (tickets, stubs, anything!)
  • Ephemera
  • Multi Medium
  • Black and/or White Gesso
  • Round Sponge Brush
  • Assorted Paint Brushes
  • Archival Ink-Black or Assorted Colors (if you have them)

Feel Free to Bring these items if you don’t like to share:

  • Distress Paints
  • Ink Sprays
  • Stencils
  • Light Modeling Paste
